Marie Helen Springfield, 77, of Kingwood, Texas passed away on September 11, 2017 in Kingwood, Texas.

Visitation will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Hwy 59 North on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Noon to 4PM. Burial/Interment will follow on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Houston National Cemetery. Kingwood Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.

Marie Helen Springfield was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Vincent Leroy Pyle and Marie Helen Pyle on August 21, 1940.

She went to high school at Ridley Park High School in Ridley Park, PA and graduated in June, 1957. In 1985, she started work as a Receptionist at the Kingwood Country Club (KWCC) Tennis Pro Shop and in 1990 transferred to the Clubhouse as Evening Receptionist and promoted to Lead Receptionist for twenty years where she received the Strawberry of the Club award.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for the Holbrook Post 615 in New Caney, TX. She enjoyed her grandchildren and first great-grandchild and traveling.

Marie Helen Springfield Is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent L. and Marie H. Pyle.
Marie Helen Springfield is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Springfield; their children, William Vincent Springfield of Katy, TX, Brian Glen Springfield of San Francisco, CA, daughter, Maria Michelle Johnson of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren, William Lyle Springfield of San Marcos, TX; Max Shafer Johnson, Haden Alexandra Johnson, Race William Johnson, Shae Elizabeth Johnson, Jett Robert Johnson, Zoe Marie Johnson of Kingwood, TX; and great-grandson, Maverick Dean Johnson of Kingwood, TX; and her brother & sister-in-law, Vincent Leroy Pyle & Catharine M. Mazzotta Pyle, of King of Prussia, PA.
