Obituary

Marie T. LeFebvre (nee Haines) of Horsham, passed away after a short illness on Thursday, January 14 th 2021. She was 91. Born in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth Haines. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip LeFebvre. Dear mother of Robert LeFebvre (Ann) of Horsham, Pa., Marie LeFebvre of Warrington, Pa. and the late Philip L. LeFebvre Jr. Grandmother of Alice and Ashley LeFebvre. Sister of Joan Miller, Elizabeth "Betty" Troy, the late Ruth Veit and the late Helen Haines

Marie grew up with her 4 sisters, who she loved dearly. When she was young, she dreamed of being a fashion designer. She would sit for hours drawing gowns and other clothing and coloring them in with colored pencils. She worked at Sears Roebuck in Philadelphia for many years, until she met the love of her life, Phil. After getting married, they moved to Horsham, where they had their house built and raised their 3 children. After her children were in school, she returned working retail at Two Guys in Hatboro and then later at Bradlees in Horsham.

After her retirement, she focused on things she enjoyed, mainly gardening, drawing and embroidery. She loved working in her flower garden and enjoyed watching them bloom in all of the beautiful colors. And while she liked all flowers, her favorites were her roses. She stitched beautiful embroidery projects that she gave to friends and family as gifts. She also liked to look out the living room window and draw what she saw. In later years, she enjoyed coloring in adult coloring books to pass the time.

Marie was a wonderful woman that will be truly missed by her friends and family.
