Mark Stephen Eldredge, 60, of Murray, Utah passed away November 1st at his home with his wife, Kathy at his side.

Mark was born in Salt Lake City on March 17, 1957 to Walter Lee and Diana Lynn (Stephens) Eldredge. He married his dear Kathy (Kathryn Reich) on February 14, 1978 and was the father of Marshall Eldredge born November 21, 1982. He was a graduate of Olympus High School, a proud Eagle Scout, and worked for Ace Recycling and Disposal for over 25 years.

Mark was a hard-working devoted husband, father, and grandfather who took pride in his son, Marshall, and was quick to introduce his wife as, "my lovely companion of many years." He was known as a jack-of-all-trades with mechanical and technical expertise. Friends and family recall his quick dry wit and discreet generosity. He enjoyed fishing with his father and brothers when he was a youth, and often took his own family fishing, boating and camping. He also enjoyed cooking, especially on the grill, made the best baked beans, and created some memorable feasts. Mark was also a talented amateur beer-maker and enjoyed creating new brews.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Marshall; sisters Leslie (Washko) and Jennifer Eldredge; brother Christopher Eldredge; grandchildren Nikolai and Tatyana, and best buddy, Keegan (Mr. K). He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bradley Eldredge.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City.
