Marlon B. Hinds, 50, of Windsor, died peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on August 29, 1966 in Trinidad, West Indies, the son of Gerald A. Hinds and the late Sylvia (Harris) Hinds. Marlon came to the U.S. as a young boy and lived in Hartford, before moving to Windsor over 30 years ago. He worked as a Supply Performance Analyst for Quest Global Services. Marlon will be remembered as a friendly, personable man with a quiet spirit. Along with his father, Gerald A. Hinds of Windsor, he leaves his sister, Michelle Hinds-Givens of W. Hartford, and his nieces and nephews: Tyler Fields, Prescott Fields, Chase Fields and Storm Givens. His family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 11-12 Noon at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 12 Noon. Burial will be private at the request of his family.
