Martha Arambula, 75, of Platteville, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1942 in Allende Coahuila, Mexico to Enrique and Francisca Ruiz.

Martha moved to Platteville in 1973. She and Julian Arambula were married for 53 years. Martha was a devoted Catholic. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church for the past 30 years, where she recited Rosaries for funerals.

Martha was very traditional. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her husband, Julian; daughter, Claudia; three sisters, Juana Ramos, Maria Morales and Rosario Medina; brother, Vicente Ruiz; six grandchildren, Ruben, Fernando, Dario, Adrian, Leticia and Aracsi and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Elva Rosa Arambula and Anita Loma; sister, Josefa Ruiz Guzman and two brothers, Pimenio Ruiz and Rudolfo Ruiz.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
