Martin was born on November 26, 1939 and passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017.

Martin was a resident of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

He served our country with dedication and courage in the United States Navy Seabees from 1958 until 1960.

He was a member of the Effort United Methodist Church in Effort, PA; the Croton Masonic Lodge # 368 in Carmel, NY and the Carbon Masonic Lodge # 242 in Jim Thorpe. Funeral services will begin 11 am, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Effort United Methodist Church in Effort with Rev. Robin Fisher and Rev. David Felker officiating. Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 from 10 am until time of service at the church Interment will be private at Richmond Hill Cemetery in Carmel, NY Memorial donations may be made In Loving Memory of Martin J. Foley to the Effort United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 545, Effort, PA 18330 or the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore Inc,m P,O, Box 550, Wellfleet, MA 02667 or to the Nauset Light Preservation Society, P.O. Box 941, Eastham, MA 02642.
