Marvin Masahiko Tsutsui, age 90, of Selma, CA passed away on November 4, 2017. He was born in Fresno, CA on October 8, 1927 to Masuo and Mutsue Tsutsui. He graduated from Poston High School in 1945 and served in the US Army from 1946 to 1947 and again in the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. After discharging from the Army, he became an auto mechanic by trade and retired in 1990.

His passion in life was fishing, be it fresh or salt water. He loved his charted fishing trips to San Francisco and Monterey Bay. He also owned and raced a stock car from 1956 to 1960.

Marvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife Aiko; parents Masuo and Mutsue; sisters Toshiye and Tadako and brother Takashi.

He is survived by his daughter Vicky; son Dean and his wife Shirley and grandson Kyle; brother Hideo Tsutsui and his wife Linda; sister-in-laws Satoko Tsutsui; Kiyomi Nakano and Minako Nakano; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank his caregivers, Norma, Delma, Jill, Eloise and Marisela for their wonderful support and also long time neighbors Sally and Alfred Guerra; and Robert, Leo and Ophelia Gutierrez.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be at the United Japanese Christian Church on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Floral Memorial Cemetery in Selma, CA.
