In Loving Memory of Mary Ann Taylor, who was born in Murphysboro, IL January 27, 1944. She transitioned to be with the Lord in her home with her husband by her side, Sunday morning July 26, 2020.

Growing up Mary Ann confessed Christ as her Savior at an early age growing up in Murphysboro. A highlighted moment in history while she attended Murphysboro High, was being recognized as athlete of the year back to back. When Mary Ann graduated high school, she was greeted by former fame high school running back Jettie Taylor Jr. They begun their life journey as they wedded that summer on July 1, 1962 in Murphysboro and moved to Seattle, Washington. A few years later after residing there, they moved to Aurora, IL.

Becoming a longtime resident of Aurora, Mary Ann grew a passion for serving youth and their families, working alongside the east and west side communities of Aurora. She entered a new chapter in her life standing by her husband's side as he founded The Original Temple of God Church in June of 1971. She also ventured and began a licensed day care home in 1971 that served families for over 20 years.

Mary Ann leaves to cherish her husband of 58 years, Bishop Jettie Taylor Jr.; three sons, Antoine Taylor and wife Carol, Andre Taylor and wife Michelle, Pierre Taylor and wife Amber; one daughter, Tiffany Taylor; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and her brother Lawrence Logan and wife Frances.

Services will be private but will be live streamed on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11 AM at the following link
