Maria C.(Christine) Rodriguez born on January 1, 1921 in San Antonio, Texas entered into rest on March 11, 2012 at the age of 91 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Rodriguez Jr. and her mother, Rosa Saenz Ibarra. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Rodriguez husband Federico (deceased) and Norma J. Chapa husband Edward; sons, Alfred Rodriguez, George Rodriguez and John Rodriguez wife Margaret of Pipe Creek, Texas; sister-in-law, Clara Rodriguez; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank staff at Sonterra Health Center for the wonderful care they provided. Visitation will begin on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held that evening at 7:00 p.m. at Alamo Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Alamo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
