Mary Lou Latimer, age 85, passed away January 15, 2014 at her residence. She was a native of Hardin County and lived the past 40 years in Rutherford County. Mary was also a retired school teacher of 30 years and taught the last 19 in the LaVergne Primary School.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Mary Etta Cannon; husband, Bob Latimer; seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Sherrill) Latimer and John (Tammy) Latimer, both of Milton; grandchildren, Allison, Mark, Lon and Lou Latimer.

Chapel service will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Jennings and Ayers. Darrell Whaley will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM at Marshall Memorial Gardens, Albertville, Alabama.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, January 17, 2014, 6:00-8:00 PM at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130; 615-893-2422. Please leave condolences at www.jenningsandayers.com.
