Mary Louise (Heath) Jolley of Nacogdoches passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Nacogdoches Medical Center at the age of 101 years and 3 months. She was born September 19, 1916, in Iola, Kansas, to parents Harry Eugene Heath and Lois Rebecca (McNally) Heath.

Mrs. Jolley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bellflower, California, where she was very active in Sunday School and Women's Ministries. She was also a longtime participant in Bible Study Fellowship International. Mary's first job was at a local Kresge's Five & Dime Store in Tulsa and had many fond memories of her work experience and fellow employees. She worked a great deal of her time in the food service industry, often working with her brother Ralph who ran and owned several restaurants. Mrs. Jolley also worked along-side her husband, Randall, operating their own shoe store in Whittier, California, and always loved wearing nice shoes.

Her hobbies included gardening, reading and collecting books, and thrift shopping. She was always on the lookout for valuable items and first edition books. She loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren have great memories of visiting her in California, going to Disneyland and Knoxberry Farms. She rode the rides with them well into her older years.

Mary had a dry wit and a great sense of humor. She was always kind. She learned much about people and life by people watching, her favorite past-time. In her later years, Mary spent her days in the corridors and in the entry way of Stallings Court Nursing Home, observing people and welcoming visitors with a smile and a warm greeting. She will be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mrs. Jolley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Forsman; husband, Randall Jolley; brother, Ralph Heath and wife Virginia; sister, Hester (Peggy) Hilburn and husband Ray; sister, Naomi Rhode; brother, Harry Heath and wife Jody; son, Jack Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her son, Eric Forsman; granddaughter, Jackie Badders and husband Jeff; grandson, Rex Gibson and wife Mary Jo; granddaughter, Jennie Gibson; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and 5 special nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to your local church missionaries.
