Mary Theresa Kulhanek Ogrodowicz passed away on October 29, 2017 at the age of 92 in Houston, TX. Born to Frank and Antonia Cerny Kulhanek on July 5, 1925 in Wallis, Texas. She was the ninth child of 10 children. Mary graduated from Orchard High School. She met Florian Charles Ogrodowicz at a dance in Houston, Texas, and they were joined in holy matrimony a year later on November 17, 1951. They were married for 62 years.

Mary was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Edwards's Catholic Church in Spring, Texas. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters.

In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing with her husband, and boating on the lake with her family. She will be remembered in recent years for her love of sharing a cup of coffee together while visiting with family.

Mary is preceded in death by all her siblings, and husband Florian on February 13, 2014.

She is survived by her four daughters: Rosalind Stockton, Cynthia Allen (David Allen-deceased), Claudia Ogrodowicz, and Cheryl Aycock (Mike). She is also survived by five of her six grandchildren; Angelica Stockton, and Michael Stockton, David Allen II, Linda Aycock and Jared Aycock; one great-grandson, Aiden Stockton; three sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

Her grandson, Damon Stockton, preceded her in death on June 10, 2017.

Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services and Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at St. Edwards Catholic Church.
