COOK, Matthew Harry, age 54, died May 4th, 2018, peacefully in his sleep at his home in Glenwood, Florida. Matt lived in Florida for the past 30 years at Duvall Homes and School for the developmentally disabled. Matt enjoyed music esp. Elton John, Harry Belefonte, and The Unicorn song, and Burl Ives. He was very fun loving and sociable, and loved to be well dressed. He particularly loved His shoes and Toy cars. He very much loved his visits with his Family. He is survived by His Parents Roger and Beverly Cook, brothers and sisters, Deborah, (Greg) Dowling, John, Robert, Chris and Andrew (Susan) and nephews, Adam and Anthony (Jenn) Cook and Lauren (Jordan) Huizenga. Private Services are planned. Burial will be at David's Cemetery, Kettering, Ohio. Special Thank You to the nurses and caretakers at Duval home, especially Millie Bowers. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Duval Homes 3395 Grand Ave PO Box 220036 Glenwood, Florida 32722-0036 or the Charity of Donor’s Choice.
