Michael was born on May 14, 1968 and passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

Michael was a resident of Miami Beach, Florida at the time of passing.

Mike was born on May 14, 1968 in Bristol and was the only son of Mary P. (Philpott) Sklarsky Shorette of Bristol and the late Philip T. Sklarsky, Jr. Raised in Bristol, he was a graduate of St. Joseph Grammar School and St. Paul Catholic High School Class of 1986.

He entered the Air Force in 1987 and has remained an active Reservist for over 25 years.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (July 3, 2018) at 11:30 AM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial with honors bestowed as an Air Force Reservist and Law Enforcement Officer will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
