BEECH CREEK – Rev. Michael Wayne DeArmond, 59, of Beech Creek, died Sunday, January 17, 2021, at 3:30PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Rev. DeArmond was born August 23, 1961, in Muhlenberg County. He was Pastor of Christ of Calvary General Baptist Church in Cleaton. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Austin DeWayne DeArmond; parents Jewell and Verlie DeArmond; and mother-in-law Nola Pierce.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Simmons DeArmond; son Adam Wayne (Jonell) DeArmond; grandchild Haley Marie DeArmond "Haley Bug"; brother Willard (Debbie) DeArmond; and sister Linda Lou Rivera.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 2:00PM at Christ of Calvary General Baptist Church in Cleaton, with Rev. Adam DeArmond officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday after 1:00PM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
