Mildred was born on November 16, 1922 to parents Oscar Denton and Julia (Hope) in Copeville, Texas and entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2012 in Mabank. Mildred was a great seamstress, a wonderful cook and loved gardening. She was Baptist by faith and was a member of Gallilean Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, TX. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband John T. McCormick and sister Lucille Jones.

She is survived by son Tommy McCormick and wife Nancy of Eustace, sister Bobbie Mayhew of Tennessee and niece Glenda Carrell and husband Ronnie of Tennessee, as well as other family members and many friends.
