ROSS, MURRAY JOHNSTON passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. He was born on July 9, 1937 to Arthur and
Dorothy (Crump) Ross of Vancouver, British Columbia and worked for The Royal Bank of Canada for over 30 years in
Montreal, Toronto, London and New York City. He was a Greenwich resident for nearly 35 years.

Murray is survived by his loving wife Sandra; his three children, Barbara, Allison and Andrew; sons-in-law Jens Cremer and
Dan Waldman; and four grandchildren, Oscar, Tate, Tucker and Frances, as well as his brother-in-law Donald Paterson and
many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved sister Joan Johnston Paterson, who passed away on
November 8, 2016.

Murray will be remembered for his tremendous sense of humor and love of life. He had a particular fondness for all
creatures great and small, from bumblebees and hummingbirds to his two French bulldogs, Beau and Duncan. He was an
avid gardener and traveler, and a wonderfully bright, kind and optimistic person. He will be missed every day.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 1 West Putnam Avenue,
Greenwich, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA or the Salvation Army in Murray's name would be greatly appreciated.
