Myra Robberson Delhotal, age 86, died on Friday, October 27, 2017 in her home at Epworth Villa in Oklahoma City. She was born in Oklahoma City to Vermelle and P.B. Robberson and was the eldest of two children. She attended Harding School and later graduated from Classen High School in 1949. For one year she attended Ward Belmont in Nashville, TN before transferring to the University of Oklahoma. There she obtained her degree in English and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.
She was an active member of the Junior League of Oklahoma City and worked as a secretary at Westminster Presbyterian, Our Lord's Community and St Luke's United Methodist churches. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder, sang in the choir and played in the hand-bell choir. For years she participated in Friday Mahjong with friends. Myra was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Delhotal, and brother Bill Robberson. She is survived by son Jim West and wife Patti of Oklahoma City; son Jay West of Denver; son Jeff West, wife Cindy, granddaughters Lauren and Samantha of Chicago. She will be remembered as a loving and loyal friend, mother and grandmother who served her community and church.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Nov. 3 at 3:30 pm at Epworth Villa at 14901 North Pennsylvania, reception to follow.
