Nadia Nevaeh Ventura, 7, of Colorado City, went to Heaven on November 26, 2017.
She was born on October 21, 2010 in Abilene to Edgar and Amanda Ventura.
Nadia was a bright eyed little girl full of life and passion, always making sure to live her life to the fullest. She enjoyed being a big sister and leading by example making sure to read her Bible to her little sisters and helping them anyway she was able to. She was proud to call herself a Catholic and was especially proud after getting baptized. She found joy in anything she did; playing with friends and family, going to the Spade Ranch, going out to the hill country, going hunting, family trips to the river, or just being at family gatherings. After family and God her biggest passion was playing softball, as she was a natural athlete. If you asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up she would proudly say a softball coach. Nadia's heart of gold; kindness, spontaneous nature; her "I love you's", and soft kisses before bed brought much joy to those who loved her most.
Those left to cherish Nadia's memory are her parents, Edgar and Amanda Ventura; her sisters, Natalie Vianey Ventura and Nayeli Anahi Ventura; her grandparents, Pedro Ventura, Rosario Munoz, Manuel Garza and wife Lilia, and Esmeralda Garza and boyfriend Antonio Espinoza all of Colorado City; her great-grandparents, Pedro Ventura, Isabel Ventura, Bernardo Munoz, and Clemencia Maldonado all of Mexico. Also surviving are her aunts and uncles; Krystal Ventura and boyfriend Jarett Garcia, Alfredo Ventura and wife Melissa, Leslie Ventura, Manuel Garza Jr. and wife Ashley, David Lee Garza and wife Gracie, Samantha Leeann Garza, Oscar Vasquez, and Gustavo Vasquez, and her cousins Julianna Garcia, Sienna Ventura, Sophia Rose Ventura, Lauren Ventura, and Savanah Ventura. Many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends also survive.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Conrado Garza, Cecilia Garza, Ruben Atkinson, and Ramona Atkinson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Ann's Catholic Church on Thursday, November 30th at 2pm with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. A visitation will be held at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 29th from 6-8 pm with a rosary to begin at 7 pm.
