Nancy Jamison Brammer, 81, of Daniels Creek Road, Collinsville, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 12, 2016. Nancy was born on September 8, 1935 in Patrick County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Posey and Elsie Nolen Jamison; three brothers, T.E. (Chuppy) Jamison, Russel Nolen Jamison and Floyd Buren Jamison; two sisters, Mae Jamison Turner (Woodrow), and Janie Jamison Roberson (Elgin).
Nancy was employed by E.I. DuPont for 34 years where she worked on the inspection line most of those years.
Nancy and her husband, Ralph loved to travel, they served as tour guides on many bus trips along the eastern seaboard with friends and family.
Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville. Thank you to her church family who has been so faithful to visit and call when she and Ralph were no longer able to attend.
Our love and sincere thanks to all the wonderful caregivers that have loved and cared for Nancy in these last years of her life.
A special thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice of Martinsville, all the nurses, aids and others that have helped the family get through these last days.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Ralph Brammer, who loved her dearly; one brother, John Jamison (Judy) of Figsboro; sisters-in-law who were like sisters to her, Velda Brammer, Frankie Brammer (Russel), Peggy Brammer (Robert) of Woolwine and Ann Jamison and Isabelle Jamison of Martinsville and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Pastor, Larry Cheek officiating. Family will receive visitors one hour before the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park.
