Nancy Kay Erickson, 73, of Albion, Illinois passed from this life to the next on February 19, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was born September 29, 1943 in Salina, Kansas. She was the daughter of Elizabeth May (Smith) and James Eason, and had been co-operator of the Albion Motel.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Burrows (Rick Cooper) of Burlington, Iowa; two sons: David Thompson of Evansville, Indiana and Daniel "Danny" Erickson of Albion; her father, James Eason; three grandchildren: Derek Burrows of St. Louis, Missouri, Noah Thompson of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and Mason (Jennifer) Cooper of Des Moines, Iowa; and three great-grandchildren: Quincy, Emmersen, and Chayce Cooper. She was preceded in death by her mother, sister Carolyn Dupree, and grandchild Michael Burrows.

Nancy's interests centered around her family and volunteering at The Hope Center. "She had so little, but gave so much to so many."

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 24 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to The Hope Center, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
