Nancy Lee VanHoose, First Lady of Bible Center Cathedral, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 6, 2017, surrounded by her family.

She retired as Executive Director from Greater Love Adoption Decision, Inc. in 2015, where she devoted over 30 years. She was proud to have successfully accomplished over 400 adoptive placements in both the US and abroad. Her legacy of love for the unborn has followed her to Heaven, and remains a steadfast lifelong goal of hers. Nancy absolutely adored all of her grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. This love was abundantly returned to their "Mimer", as she was affectionately called. She also enjoyed cooking and loved to plan fancy parties.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Rev. Rick VanHoose; daughter, Julie (Pastor James) Wells; sons, Jeron Lee (Kim) VanHoose and Reeser (Jennifer) Williams; sisters, Karen (Rick) Bender and Debbie Collins; grandchildren, Lexi, Lena and Lyndi Wells, Harrison VanHoose, Hanna Brune, Justin, Benjamin and Madisen Williams; and great-grandchild, Shiloh Williams. Nancy also leaves to cherish her memory numerous church members, friends and community acquaintances.

Fancy Nancy will be greatly missed, but our loss is Heaven's gain.

Her grand eternal homecoming will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, December 11, 2017, at Bible Center Cathedral, 5000 N. First Ave., officiated by Rev. Bryan Pace from The River of Life in Arizona, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to G.L.A.D, Inc., 5000 N. First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderNorthChapel.com.
