Nancy Ryden, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed into eternity with Jesus on 7/5/2017 after an extended illness, during which she was attended by many capable and loving caregivers in home hospice care.

She is survived by Ted, her husband of nearly 57 years, her daughter Kim Dorsett, husband Keith and grandchildren Cameron and Anna of College Station, Tx; her son Brad, wife Becky and grandchildren Alex, Ethan, Audrey and Eliot of Boerne, Tx; and daughter Wendy Aubin, husband Justin and granddaughter Emma of Argyle, Tx. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Furnish of Scottsdale, Az. and brother Steve Huffman of Mesa, Az.

She was born Nancy Huffman on 1/5/1936 in Huntingdon, Pa. the daughter of Paul and Arlene Huffman. She accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior as a young girl in a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Huntingdon. She met Ted in Phoenix, Az. and they were married on 8/25/1960.

She loved her family and devoted her life to raising her children and nurturing their faith in Jesus. Likewise, she was involved in the life of her grandchildren and came to see each of them trust in Jesus also.

She loved Christian hymns and played them by ear with a God-given talent. She was a long time member of Trinity Bible Church in Richardson and often played piano in their monthly service at the Union Gospel Mission, where a requested favorite was "Victory in Jesus". She also volunteered for many years with Ted in a prison ministry now called "Behind the Walls" founded by Bill Glass.

She will be missed.
