Nellwyn Connor Graham, 81, went home to be with Jesus on September 16, 2017. She was
born in Haskell, Texas on February 25, 1936, and was the third of six children of Lloyd and
Mamie Conner. She would have graduated high school in Haskell as their valedictorian, but
chose instead to marry Curtis in 1952 just before he went into the Army, where she followed
him to boot camp and then to Texarkana. While Curtis was stationed in Germany, she finished
high school career.

Nellwyn eventually moved to Pampa TX where she worked for Southwestern Bell as a
telephone operator. Their daughter (LaNell) was born in 1956 and their son (Randy) was born
in 1960. The family moved to Midland TX in 1970 and then moved to Houston in 1974.
Nellwyn worked for the Sears Corporation in Houston for 14 years as a telephone customer
service representative. She and her family have been active members of Braeswood since
coming to Houston, and served as Braeswood's pianist for many years.

Nellwyn is survived by her husband of 65 years, Curtis, her daughter, LaNell, her son, Randy,
her sisters Janet Stephens, and Gladys Riggs and her brother David Conner.
