Nemecio Francia Toledo, age 64, from Hollister California passed away on Monday August 22, 2016, at Fresno Community Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 23, 1952, to Carmen Francia and Jesus Toledo in San Ignacio de Mogotes municipio Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato Mexico and was the second youngest of 7 children. Nemecio began his journey to the United States at the age of 16. He always dreamed of coming to the U.S and living the American Dream. His journey started in Tennessee where he worked the migrant fields later he and 4 friends bought a car and traveled to Michigan and Colorado to also work the migrant fields and then finally to California where he settled in Hollister were he became a diesel mechanic and truck driver. He established his longtime dream of creating Toledo Trucking and started his fruit tree orchard. Nemecio and Yolanda met in Hollister California at a dance and soon after they married on February 17, 1973 and were married for 43 years. Nemecio is survived by his wife Yolanda F. Toledo his son Raul F. Toledo, daughter Ofelia Toledo-Prieto (Jose Prieto), daughter Celeste Toledo-Bocanegra (Shane Bocanegra), and youngest son Daniel F. Toledo with five grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. Nemecio Toledo was a pioneer and an inspiration to us all. A hard working man that cared and devoted his time to his family. The Rosary will be on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Mass will be on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends can pay their respects on Wednesday after 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home chapel
