Mr. Nicholas A. Coda, of Shrewsbury, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 in UMASS - Memorial Healthcare, University Campus. He was 62.

Nicholas, "Nick", was born on July 11, 1949 in the Bronx, New York a son of Rose Coda and the late Frank Coda.

He worked in the travel and tourism industry beginning with LIB/GO Travel in New Jersey. His last position was vice president of sales and marketing for GWV Vacations in Needham.

In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, he leaves his son, Justin, his mother, Rose; his brothers, Frank Coda, Anthony Coda and Larry Coda.

Family and friends will honor and remember Nick's life by gathering for calling hours at Heald & Chiampa Funeral Directors ~ The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 10:00 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Mountain View Cemetery, Boylston Street, (Rt. 140) Shrewsbury Center, where his Graveside Service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.
