Nicole O'Brien of Patterson, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the age of 50. She was born in the Bronx, the daughter of Anthony and Rose (Balascio) Campanella. On August 25, 2002 she married William O'Brien, they were married for over 15 years. She received an Associate's degree from Berkley Institute and worked for J.J. Sisca & Associates as a property manager.

Nicole was always doing things for others before herself and was devoted to family and friends. She was active in the Mahopac/Patterson Relay for Life and Nicole was the honorary chairperson in 2016. Nicole had a talent for making everyone laugh.

Nicole is survived by her husband William and their son Christopher, her mother Rose Campanella of Mahopac, her brother Anthony J Campanella III and his wife Lisa of Mahopac, her sister Michele and Bruce Ean of Mahopac, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Friday, April 21 from 4-8 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22 at 10AM at St. John The Evangelist Church, also in Mahopac. Interment will follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel.
