Noah James DeGidio was born June 14, 2000 in San Diego, CA and passed away December 30, 2017 in Springfield, VA. He was the beloved son of his father, Russel J. DeGidio and his mother, Lisa A. Krueger-DeGidio. He is survived by his brother, Benjamin L. DeGidio; sisters, Ashley M. DeGidio-Peare and Amanda L. DeGidio-Fader; Paternal Grandmother, Pauline Nuti; Maternal Grandparents, Jerry and Chris Krueger; and his faithful dog Henry. He attended West Springfield High School and previously, Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI.

Noah was a gentle soul who loved his family, friends and God. He loved to make people laugh and had a genuine passion for helping others. Everyone who met Noah was left with a lasting impression of this amazing, compassionate young man. Whether on sports teams, in the gym, in the classroom or at family gatherings, Noah was the eternal, optimistic motivator. His eclectic sense of style made him a trend-setter who delighted in the shocked look on people's faces that soon turned to laughter. Noah was truly a colorful character!

Noah's selfless way of navigating life made him a light in any darkness and he never hesitated to share his love for God. Out of respect for Noah's giving spirit, the family is not requesting flowers, but would prefer that you only donate in Noah's name to charities that touch your soul.

2 Corinthians 4:8-12 (NIV - New International Version)
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 with a reception to follow at:
Grace Lutheran Church
