Norma I. Lingelbach, 87, of Grover, passed away June 27, 2009 at her home. She was born on October 22, 1921 in Sligo to Floyd & Mabel (Dunlap) Brauher. She was a lifelong resident of Grover where she graduated from Grover School. She married Herman T. "Bud" Lingelbach on November 21, 1939 in Grover and he died on March 9, 1980. Norma was a homemaker and owned a bakery in Grover for a couple of years. She enjoyed decorating cakes, refinishing furniture, and painted both interior and exterior for friends. She was a cook at the Grover school and custodian at the Grover Community Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed spending time with her family, collected rocks, enjoyed puzzles of all kinds, played the piano by ear, and enjoyed the beautiful prairie, flowers and trees. She loved Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and loved to help others. Survivors include her son, Larry Russell (Judy), daughters, Norma Jean Smith (Lynn) and Marian Sierman, and her brother, Dale Brauher, all of Grover. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son-in-law, Andy Sierman and brother, Eugene Brauher. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Grover Community Church. Interment Grover Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice in care of Allnutt, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631.
