Normand E. Dufresne, "Guy," age 91, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017. He was the husband of the late Stella (Faucher) Dufresne.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Prosper and Marie Louise (Berube) Dufresne, he was a lifelong resident of the city.

A graduate of B.M. C. Durfee High School, he was a Veteran of the United Sates Navy, having served during World War II as a Gunner's Mate Third Class. He worked as an Accounts Representative at Coca Cola for thirty years before retiring in 1986.

An avid card player, Mr. Dufresne was a former member of the St. Anne's Fraternity and the Blue Anglers Fishing Club.

He is survived by one son, Peter Dufresne and his wife Debby of Westport; four grandchildren, Chris Souza, Nicholas and Alexander Dufresne and Desiree Silveira, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Janice Machado and brother of the late Joseph Dufresne, Antoinette Boisenault, Beatrice Perry, Lorraine Patten, Gertrude Arel and Vivian Jasmin.

His Funeral will be held on Monday July 24, 2017 at 12:00NOON in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to his service from 11:00 to 12:00PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial private.
