Orlando Mora was born and raised in Chicago, the son of Alonso and Nora Mora.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents: Alonso and Nora; sister: Evelyn, aunt: Maria Teresa, uncles: Hugo and Gerardo; cousins: Julio C. , Stella , Adriana , Lorena , and Marissa.
He was a sincere, analytical, altruistic, dependable, helpful, clever, humorous, intelligent, compassionate, spiritual and talented man. Orlando was an avid CUBS and soccer fan. He loved pets, angels, acting, self-help books, performing on stage, theatre, helping others, movies, music, dancing and hanging out with friends. Orlando was a loyal and trusted friend to many people. For several years he was a member of the Thresholds Theatre Arts program. Orlando was also a member of the NAMI Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) team. Visitation is Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 3pm to 8pm at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL 60625. Services will conclude this evening.
