Paul Franklin Wren, son of James and Lillie Dale (Black) Wren, was born in Mountain Grove, Missouri on June 10, 1934 and passed away January 6, 2014 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon from terminal cancer.
His wife of 49 years, Bonnie Wren, two sisters Lelah Sullivan and Eleanor Lowtrip, brother Ted Wren and his parents James and Lillie D. Wren preceded him in death.
Paul was the father of five children, four sons and one daughter, and grandfather to several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Paul worked several years for Sargents Quarry of Davis City, Iowa and was head greens keeper of the Corydon Municipal Golf Course until his retirement.
Paul loved to fish and at his special spot at Bob White Lake. He and his son Marty would spend hours waiting for the catfish to bite.
His most avid hobby was ham radios. He loved talking to all his loyal CB Brothers everyday, Grasshopper, Catfish, etc.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Graveside funeral services will be held at noon on January 18, 2014 at the Clio Cemetery.
