Gold River, CA - Pacita finally accepted the call that it was time to go. She received the first call over a year ago, when her heart was not performing as it should, but refused because she just wasn't ready.

Pacita had a mission to fulfill before she heeded the call. She made a promise to her husband that their children would enjoy the gifts of their labor, and she would tolerate nothing less. She did a great job and everything went as she planned. It was a rough journey for her, but as the agents handed the keys of her house to the new buyers, Pacita finally heeded the call and let go, Friday June 30, 2017. Until then, she had the opportunity to reconnect with family and friends and discover a life experience full of meaning through personal reflection. She was able to share her thoughts, experiences, and wisdom with her caregivers, friends and family, a gift they will cherish forever.

We will remember her smile, smooth beautiful flawless skin, love for gardening, orchids and roses, ice cream, sweets, rice, and praying her rosary. Mostly, we will remember the legacy she leaves behind. She worked very hard all her life. Pacita was a tough and strong matriarch, and a strict disciplinarian. She left a life legacy to her children filled with hands-on lessons on forgiveness, humility, unconditional love, trust, and patience. In the end, she made a difference in the lives of her children Rey Urmanita, Wilhelmina Lum, Myrna Urmanita, and Nick Urmanita (deceased); their spouses, MaryAnn, Nolan, and Lorrie; six grandchildren, Brian, Jeff, Sara, Heather, Jon, Janelle, Kyle and Eric; and six great grandchildren, Byronie, Holland, Ashlyn, Madison, Ellie, and Zoe.
