Palmer Ihnken, 69, Argusville, ND died on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, ND.

Palmer Elmer Ihnken was born March 9, 1944 in Fargo to William and Amy (Foss) Ihnken. He grew up on the family farm near Argusville and graduated from high school there. He was baptized and confirmed at Osterdalen Lutheran Church. Palmer was a life-long farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by four siblings, Walter (Sandra) Ihnken, West Fargo, Donald Ihnken, Perley, MN, Donna (Donald) Burley, Gardner, ND and Emily "Shorty" (David) Radebaugh, Fargo along with several nieces and nephews.

Palmer was preceded in death by his parents and two infant siblings.

Memorial Service: Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11 AM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with a reception to follow.

Final Resting Place: Osterdalen Lutheran Cemetery.
