Pascal "Tuffy" Judson Townsend III, 66, of Raymond passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010, in Saginaw, TX. A funeral service will be at 11:00am Wednesday, September 1, 2010, in the Chapel of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton with burial to follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City, MS. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 - 7pm Tuesday August 31, 2010 and 10am on Wednesday.

Mr. Townsend was born October 20, 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX, the son of Naval Lt. Pascol Judson Townsend, Jr. and Frances "Fani" W. Townsend. He grew up in Drew, MS, attended Drew High School, Sunflower County Junior College (Miss. Delta Junior College) and graduated from Ole Miss in 1965 with a degree in Business. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. From early childhood, he was an avid hunter and a fisherman.

Pascal owned and operated Dollarmark Lumber Company in Flora. Never one to allow hunting and fishing too far from his heart, he became a professional guide and operated Reach Out Landing in Du Lac, LA; where he received many newspaper articles of his accomplishments as a guide. He was a member of Miss. Country Western Association and also employed by All Star Forest Products, Inc.

Pascal was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Clinton. He was predeceased by his father, Honorable Pascol Judson Townsend, Jr., Esquire, of Clarksdale.

Mr. Townsend is survived by his mother, Frances "Fani" W. Atkinson of Raymond; son , Drake M. (Dee Dee) Townsend; daughters, Leslie T. (Rick) Greene of Saginaw, TX, and Tiffany T. (Bryant) Ward of Brandon; brother, Blaine (Connie) Townsend of Cocodrie, LA; grandchildren are Evan and Tate Townsend of Brandon, Madison Elise Land and Hunter Ward of Brandon, Jonathan and Logan Ward of Meridian; nephew, James Lee (Angelique) Sheer of Broug, LA; and niece, Elizabeth Scheer (Jody) Blanchard of Houma, LA; four great-nephews ; one great niece; and special friend, Ladye Margaret Townsend.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Cowan, Jimmy Guest, Tom Cremeen, Les Ealy, Chuck Groche, Dewayne Siegel, Leigh Atkinson, Bill Walters and Tony Santangelo. Honorary pallbearers will be Karlis Gercens, Blaine Townsend, Billy Temple, and Bryant Ward.
