Patrick Martin Downs, 88, of Arvonia, died Friday, January 9, 2015 at a local hospital.



Born May 22, 1926 in Hollis, New York, he was the son of the late Patrick Edward and Marie Hemling Downs.



He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Patricia Downs; one son, Patrick J. Downs;  two daughters, Catherine Muenkel and Mary Louise Pullen; and was a grandfather and great grandfather to many.



A memorial mass will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service at the church.
