SINK, Paul D., age 70, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Paul was a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. Honorably discharged from the Navy, serving on the U.S.S. WASP from 1966 – 1970. Worked at Tresler/Ashland Oil Company 1970 – 1992. Paul was an avid golfer, storyteller and fan of Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and University of Cincinnati football and basketball.
Survived by wife of 45 years Janet (nee Schwering). Loving father of Jennifer (Eric) Beeghly and Diana (Doug) Horst. Devoted grandfather of Rachael, Kelsey, Lauren, and AJ. Brother-in-law to Rita (Gary- deceased) Herzner, brother to Mark (Sheryl) and Eydie Fyffe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by his father John, mother Violet (nee Williams), brother John and sister-in-law Sandy (nee Seibert).
Visitation at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Road, on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 11:30 AM until time of service at 1:30 PM. Entombment immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery, West 8th and Seton Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 4555 lake Forest Drive, Suite 396, Cincinnati, OH 45242 or American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45227.
