Paul E. Perry, 65, of Haverhill, Ohio passed away Friday (Feb. 2, 2007) at his residence. He was born August 28, 1941 in Lawrence Co. Ohio; the son of the late Jesse James and
Mary Webb Perry.
He was a US Army veteran and attended Rock Hill High School and was a former shipping clerk of Dayton Malleable Iron Co and Ironton Iron with 30 yrs service. He was a life member of VFW Post 8850, life member of AMVETS Post 95 Greenup, Ky and the Ohio Horseman Council. He has lived most of his life in Lawrence Co, Ohio; Oak Hill for 2 years. He is of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: William and Earl Perry and a sister: Thelma Layne
He is survived by a son: James Edward Perry of Pine Grove; two sisters: Wilma Baker of Oak Hill, and Jessie Mae Noel of Pedro. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday (Feb. 6, 2007) at Phillips Funeral Home 1004 So. 7th St
Ironton with Rev. Larry Comer officiating. Burial in Haverhill Cemetery and friends call 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Military rites by VFW Post 8850 at the cemetery.
