Paula (DeForge) Rosenthal, 66 of East Hartford, Connecticut, died Tuesday May 10, 2016. She was the widow of Harold Rosenthal.

Paula was born in Hartford, May 23, 1949, daughter of the late Edward and Gloria (Kilby) DeForge and had been a resident of East Hartford since 1959. She graduated from George J. Penney High School in 1968. She was a former teacher's aide for special education in the Town of East Hartford's public school system. She loved word searches and vintage television programs, especially Murder She Wrote, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann DeForge of East Hartford and three brothers, James DeForge and his wife Janet of Ellington, Bruce DeForge and his wife Denise of Lutherville, Maryland, and Richard DeForge and his wife Lori of Oxford, Florida, and sisters-in-law, Sharon Gasparini of Amston and Nancy DeForge of Woodstock, Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she cherished and loved. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward DeForge.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday, May 28 from 1-2:30pm at the Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, CT. A Memorial Service celebrating Paula's life will begin at 2:30pm at the funeral home.
