BONNER – Pauline L. Erickson, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, peacefully at her home. She was born Oct. 24, 1923, in Allen, Neb., to Frank and Elsie Broeker. Pauline moved to Montana when she was 6 years old. She later graduated from Missoula County High School and worked as a telephone operator. Pauline and Albin where married on July 21, 1944. Later, they moved to Washington. Albin was then sent to Japan in the Navy while Pauline worked at the Oregon shipyards as a secretary for one year. She moved back to Missoula and worked for J.C. Penney Co., Champion International and the University of Montana. She enjoyed her S&B Club, playing cards, gardening and square dancing. She also was well known for her creative crafts. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother. Pauline is survived by her son, Kenneth (Ann) Erickson of New Brockton, Ala.; and three daughters, Judy (Norm) Kamrud of Choteau, Debby (Ted) Kamrud of Whitehall and Joan (Craig) Sanford of Missoula. Also surviving are two sisters, Wilda Erickson of Turah and Betty Meisner of South Sioux City, Neb.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; plus several nieces and nephews. Pauline will be missed by all whose lives she has touched. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Bonner, followed by a reception at the church. Interment will follow later at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Please join us in celebrating Pauline's life.
