Peggy Kessinger Morgan, 77, of Cape St. Claire, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017.


Born in Speedway, WV to the late Fred and Mildred Kessinger on October 17th, 1940, Peggy was the second child, only daughter, of six. She grew up in Shore Acres, MD and graduated from Annapolis High School in 1958. She married her lifetime sweetheart on June 21st, 1959 and spent much of her adult life as a self-employed caregiver to the elderly in the comfort of their homes before retiring.


Peggy was a devout Christian, a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and loved NASCAR. Her hobbies include watching the football games, playing her Facebook games and reading her bible. A true heart of gold, she loved her friends and family above all else.


Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Gerald Morgan; her daughter, Teri Morgan Robinson; and her brothers, Russell and Douglas Kessinger.


Her survivors include her two daughters, Bonnie Morgan Davis, of Annapolis; Angela Morgan of Baltimore; her son, James Morgan, of Senoia, GA; three brothers, James Kessinger of Stevensville; Donald Kessinger of NC; Richard Kessinger of Eastern Shore; nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.


The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Monday, December 18th, 2017 at the John M Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 at the John M Taylor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
