Ms. Penny Leigh Wells, 56, of Albany died on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at her residence. A graveside funeral service for Ms. Wells will be held on Friday March 16, 2012 at 2 PM at Riverside Cemetery with Bill Pawley giving the eulogy. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6-8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.

Ms. Wells was born in Albany, GA to the late George Leonard and Lois Mooty Pawley on February 18, 1956. She was retired from Hertz Car Rental and was a graduate of Albany High School.

She is survived by a son Chris Gimenez of Savannah, GA, two brothers Bill Pawley and his wife Brenda of Leesburg, GA. and George Pawley and his wife Nancy also of Leesburg, GA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a sister Diana Mayo.
