Phillip Lon Peterlin, 78, passed away on Sunday morning January 14, 2018 after a long illness. He was born on May 25, 1939 in Burns, Oregon to Eva Marie and Frank Peterlin.

He loved playing sports while growing up in Oregon and coached Pop Warner football in his early 20's. He met his wife, Lorri Myers, while working as an apprentice baker in Portland, Oregon. They were married on February 7, 1959. They had two children. They were happily married for almost 59 years.

Phillip worked as a supervisor for Albertsons, moving the family to California before settling in Texas. He worked in many facets of the baking industry including product and development. He spent 6 years serving his country in the National Guard. He loved to fish, camp and play golf with family and friends. Phillip was always the life of the party with a wicked sense of humor.

His parents Frank and Eva, his sister Beverly and his brother Frankie preceded him in death. Phillip is survived by his wife Lorri; his daughter Lorri Ann and his son-in-law Matt; his son Phillip and daughter-in-law Vicki; his grandchildren Ashley, Jamie, Emily, Kassi and Chase; his great grandchildren Noah, Gavin, Molly and Eli, his sisters Carole and Colleen and his nieces and nephews and numerous relatives.

A small, private family graveside service will be on January 17, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas
