Phyllis loved tending her flower garden, playing the piano, watching baseball, ladies bowling league, and recollections of her travels to Germany. Phyllis enjoyed playing Bridge and Pinochle until age 99. She was a long-time member of Mondovi Grange, Lincoln County Republicans, election volunteer, and Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport for 70 years where she served as organist for 20 years. Her family is comforted knowing this Christmas she will be with her Lord, reunited with her husband, and playing "Silent Night" while singing in German.
