Quanah Jean Whitefield


Quanah Jean, of Euless, Texas, passed away on November 28, 2017 in Fort Worth/Texas.


She will always be remembered as the kindest, most caring loving mother with a precious sweet soul to all that knew and loved her. She was a beautiful person inside and out who always cared about others and never herself. She was born July 6, 1944 in Big Spring, Texas to C.H. and Anna Mae Hyden. Quanah made a full-time career of being a housewife of raising 3 children and wife to her husband James Reed Whitefield of 57 years. She loved gardening with plants and hen-parties with her family and friends, she had the gift to talk to anyone.


Quanah is survived by her brother Glenn R. Hyden of Big Spring, Texas; Son- Jeffery T. Whitefield of Euless, Texas; Daughter- Jana J. Curren of Euless, Texas; Son- Jason L. Whitefield of Mansfield, Texas; Daughter in law- Angela M. Whitefield of Mansfield, Texas; Grandchildren- Kelsey M. Whitefield and Hailey M. Whitefield and one Great grandchild- Delilah G. Foster and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents; brother- Charles Hyden and her husband preceded her in death.


The visitation will be held from 2-3 o'clock p.m. on Saturday December 2, 2017, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3 o'clock p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park with a reception to follow at 13200 S. Pipeline Rd, Euless, Texas 76040.
