Ralph Glen Watley Jr., passed away August 22, 2017. He was born March 1, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ralph Sr. and Elvira Watley.

Ralph graduated from Van Horn High School in 1965. He received a full ride scholarship to University of Tulsa. In 1969 he graduated with his BA. He retired from Steelcase after working 30 years. Ralph enjoyed walking, watching sports and spending time with friends and family. He was an outdoors man who liked going camping, fishing and hunting when he was young. He was a member of Cigma Chi and loved to travel, taking many trips to the Caribbean Islands.

Ralph never met a stranger and always enjoyed a good conversation. He enjoyed telling jokes and stories, and had a loud laugh to go with them.

Ralph is preceded in death by his mother Elvira Catherine Pike Watley, father Ralph Glen Watley Sr., brother-in-law Ronald J. Simms.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Simms-Watley, children: Justin Carl Rotering-Watley and wife, Lily, Erin A. Hall and husband, Jared; step-sons: Eric K. White and wife, Whitney, Nickolas R. White and wife, Natalie, Jason L. White and wife, Ashley; grandchildren: Anna White, Kaden White, Noah White, Macy Hall, Paxton White, Reid Hall, Kinzlie White, Owen Hall, Harrison White, Everett Rotering-Watley, Merritt Rotering-Watley; brother Dennis E. Watley and wife Linda Lankford-Watley, sister-in-law Debbie Springall, brother-in-law Jerry Simms, In-Laws George A. and Joyce Simms.
