Raymond Clyde Peterson was born April 10, 1935, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He was the son of Clyde Paul Peterson and Mary Joan Miller. Raymond was the older brother of Ronald Stanley Peterson (deceased). Raymond served in the United States Army and was transferred to California on February 28th, 1958.

After serving his country honorably Raymond met his true love and future wife Stella Odena
Condra while working at Douglas Aircraft. They remained married for 55 wonderful years until his passing. Raymond and Stella had three children, Linda Renee Peterson, Michael Raymond Peterson, Sherry Denise Peterson and two step sons Clifton Woodrow Upchurch (deceased) and Charles Wayne Upchurch (deceased).

Raymond was a devoted grandfather to his cherished grandchildren Amber, Sean, Nicole,
Ashley, Joshua, Andrew, Kiera and one expected grandchild. He loved his grandchildren
specially laughing with them. Raymond's joy was watching all his grandchildren growing and
developing year after year. He was so proud of them all and never stopped talking of them. The time spent with his grandchildren was most cherished.

Raymond graduated from College and was employed as an Electronic Draftsman working in the aircraft and defense industries until he retired in California. His true passion was art and
culture. He enjoyed foreign movies, classic art, and plays. After retiring Raymond and Stella
travelled the world together. Occasionally, meeting his children, grandchildren and family in
various parts of the world. He served as our tour guide showcasing historical places, museums and cultural attractions. These were truly the golden years for him.

Raymond was a gentle, forgiving, tolerant and compassionate father, living by example, loving his family with all his heart. He prayed often and relied on Jesus to guide his ways. He would often light a candle and pray specially for those less fortunate. He was inspired by Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela and all those who gave to this world to make it a better place. He was not guided by monetary means but by family, love and God.

Raymond Clyde Peterson passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife at his side on January 6th, 2018.

Raymond lived a full life and serves as an example to all those who he touched to use Gods time wisely, to give of yourself, to laugh and most important to love.
