Raymond L. Kiestlinger, 86, of Bedford, died January 10, 2018 at the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center after a short illness. He was born in Bedford on May 21, 1931 the son Of Raymond Kiestlinger and Mary (Maciolek) Kiestlinger and was a lifelong resident of Bedford. He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester High School West.

He was the owner/operator of Ray's Country Store, a landmark on South River Rd. in Bedford, for over 35 years. Ray was a strong believer in giving back to his community and was a member of the Bedford Sportmans Club, the Bedford Lions Club and was also a member of the Bedford Planning Board and the Bedford Crimeline retiring after 34 years of service. He enjoyed sports and was an avid New England Patriots fan and truly cherished his quiet times spent with a fishing rod in his hand. He loved getting together with family and friends and will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother and friend.

Members of his family include his loving wife Jennie (Gerasi) Kiestlinger, his daughter Shana Rousseau and her husband Steve and his son Danny Blondeau all of Bedford, his grandsons Danny Blondeau, Jr., Steve Rousseau, Jr. and Chad Rousseau, his great grandchildren Kayleigh Roper, Mark Blondeau, Jacob Blondeau, Skyler Rousseau, Sophia Rousseau, Megan Rousseau and Nicholas Blondeau, his great-great grandchildren Avery Roper and Scarlett Roper and his sisters Gladys Morin and Josephine Kiestlinger both of Bedford as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday January 15 from 4 to 6 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Funeral Service was celebrated on Tuesday January 16 at 10 am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Ray's name be made to the Bedford Fire and Rescue or to the Bedford Crimeline 55 Constitution Dr. Bedford, NH 03110.
