Raymond Thornton Cromer, 95 of Arlington, Texas went home to be with his Lord November 28, 2017

He was born in Anna, Texas on June 13, 1922 to Sam and Blanche Cromer.

Raymond T. Cromer was a graduate of Van Alstyne high school and received his degree from Hardin Simmons University.He was married to Iva Marie Cromer on February 5, 1941.
Raymond T. Cromer retired from the military after serving his country for 35 years. During WWII he was a top turret gunner on "Ole Flutterbutt" a B-24 Liberator based in Italy. He successfully completed 50 missions over Romania, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and France where he was awarded numerous medals.

He was dedicated to his family and loved "his" Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Blanche Cromer, wife Marie Cromer, daughter Sandra and husband Harold Johnston, sisters Lois Strother and Jeanie Powell. Raymond T. Cromer is survived by sister Peggy and husband Garry Preston of Sherman, daughters Sue and husband Duane Bragg of Carrollton, R.T. and husband Chris Hall of Mansfield, and Ramie and husband Dennis Dingle of Frisco; grandchildren Ray Nelson, Dustin Dingle, Jeremy Cozart, Russell Nelson, Brittany Rugg; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Raymond will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 4, 2017 at 12:00 PM, at Moore Funeral Home, with a reception to follow in the main hall of the funeral home. An interment will occur at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Duane Bragg, Chris Hall, Dennis Dingle, Ray Nelson, Dustin Dingle and Jeremy Cozart.
