Richard B. Wolfe Obituary

I worked with "Richard" ("Mr. Wolfe" to me in the mid-1960s) at Wasatch Academy. He very much encouraged me and helped me in both pre-professional (musical) and personal ways. I miss him.

Richard B. Wolfe (Dick Wolfe) was my husband and father of my 5 children. I was never officially notified of his death. I missed him terribly for many years, loved him enough to let him go when he decided he did not want the responsibilities of husband and father. He was an excellent band director and music teacher. He will remain in my memory as a good and fun person to be with. He taught in Climax, Colorado; Gunnison, Colorado;

Pleasant, Utah at Wasatch Academy; Kenai and Soldottna, Alaska; and Whiteriver, Arizona; where he left me to go to Flagstaff, Arizona, to further his education. He never returned to the Reservation to care for his family.
